About Haras Serondella

Our Farm

Where bloodlines, patience and the show ring meet.

Our Story

Haras Serondella was born from a lifelong passion that began when Fábio Amorosino was just three years old. His love for horses first grew through his uncle, who bred Thoroughbreds, and later through his closest friend, whose family owned the renowned Haras Fabrini, one of Brazil's most traditional Arabian horse farms.

What once seemed like a distant dream began with the breeding of Half-Arabians before Fábio bred his first purebred Arabian mare in 1997. From that moment, Haras Serondella slowly began to take shape.

Located in Salto de Pirapora, São Paulo, the farm was built patiently, one exceptional mare at a time. Fábio always believed that great breeding is never achieved overnight, but through generations of thoughtful selection and unwavering dedication.

What started as one man's dream soon became a family passion. Today, together with his wife Araceli and their sons Felipe, Fernando, and Pedro, every important decision is made as a family — most often around the dinner table, where Arabian horses remain the favorite topic of conversation. That unity is the true foundation of Haras Serondella. On the eve of a National Championship, the entire family is at the barns before sunrise, preparing and loading the horses themselves.

Over the years, Serondella horses have earned championships and become influential breeding horses throughout the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. Seeing our breeding program contribute to programs around the world remains one of our greatest honors.

Breeding Philosophy

Our breeding program is founded on what we believe is the true cornerstone of Arabian breeding: exceptional mare families. It is an art that has become increasingly rare, yet one we have devoted decades to studying and preserving — carefully selecting the world's finest maternal bloodlines and building strong sire lines upon them.

From this philosophy emerged the unmistakable "Serondella look," shaped by very special mares such as Only Serondella, the all-time leading aristocrat mare bred in Brazil, and strengthened by influential sires including Vision Serondella and *GT Shardh.

Our goal has always been to breed complete Arabian horses: individuals with beauty, presence, and refinement worthy of the world's greatest show rings, yet with the structure, soundness, and athleticism to excel under saddle. We believe that true beauty should never come at the expense of functionality.

Because the future of every breeding program lies in its mares, we breed only to stallions we would proudly use to produce our own daughters.

Above all, we believe that happy horses become better horses. Our horses live year-round in spacious green pastures, where they can develop naturally in both body and mind. We also believe that excellence cannot be hurried. Great breeding is measured not in years, but in generations. This is our guiding philosophy and our lifelong pursuit. After more than four decades of breeding, we still feel we are only at the beginning.

The Arabian Horse

The Arabian horse is one of the oldest and most influential horse breeds in the world, admired for thousands of years for its beauty, intelligence, endurance, and extraordinary bond with humans. Originating in the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula, the breed was shaped by Bedouin tribes, who prized horses that combined refinement, resilience, and a willing temperament.

Its unmistakable beauty is defined by a refined head with expressive eyes, a beautifully arched neck, a short, strong back, and a naturally elevated tail carriage. Yet true Arabian type is far more than appearance. It is the harmonious combination of elegance, balance, athletic ability, and charisma that makes an Arabian horse instantly recognizable.

Throughout history, Arabian horses have influenced nearly every modern horse breed, passing on their stamina, soundness, and nobility. Today, they excel both in the world's most prestigious show rings and in disciplines such as endurance, dressage, working western, and recreational riding.

At Haras Serondella, we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing these timeless qualities, breeding Arabian horses that unite exceptional type, athleticism, and the noble character that has made the breed legendary for centuries.
